Safariland began in 1964, when founder Neale Perkins, working out of his garage, designed leather products for his friends. Within three years, patents were granted for many of the designs that were to make Safariland internationally famous. Now in its fourth decade, Safariland occupies a 125,000 square foot manufacturing and headquarters facility, located in Ontario, California.
